Also, think about what sort of look you're trying to achieve on your patio. Do you want something stylish and elegant? Perhaps casual and simple? You might need to consider what color your patio furniture is, or the color of your house, so that your fire pit can blend in nicely. All of these factors are really a matter of preference, but you need to have some idea what you're looking for, or you'll never be able to choose.
One area where a power washer does come in handy is on the floor. Use a power washing attachment to scrub your patio floor clean. It works a treat on concrete, tiles, and hard surfaces. Once your floor is nice and clean, reseal and add fresh grout if you have a tiled floor, re-varnish a timber floor, or invest in some new rugs.
A simple poster along your home's outdoor wall would also be a great addition since it's super quick and inexpensive to install and it can be seen and admired by all of your guests while adding a splash of color. Floral sconces or mirrors can also work well if you're looking to jazz it up a bit.
3. Safety First - Be sure the gas patio heater you choose is carefully engineered for safety. Industry-approved designs feature safety tilt switches, sealed burners, flame controls, electronic ignitions and emergency cut-off valves. No sense in looking good if you aren't safe.
